At TDC, we offer two exciting options for our youngest dancers, both built on the Discover Dance Curriculum, which introduces movement fundamentals through imagination, creativity, and play

1. Full-Term Pre-School Dance

September – June | Recital Participation Included


Our full-term classes provide a structured, 10 month-long dance experience where young dancers build confidence, coordination, and technique. These classes follow a progressive curriculum and perform in our annual recital.

2. Mini Sessions

Short, Seasonal Sessions | No Recital Commitment


Our Mini Sessions are a separate, short-term dance experience designed for families looking for a low-commitment, fun introduction to dance. These sessions run for six weeks at a time and are great for first-time dancers!

We believe in providing quality instruction in a fun, nurturing environment. Here’s a breakdown of the investment for each program so you can find the best fit for your little one!

Full-Term Creative Movement /Preschool

    • Tuition: Monthly payments based on weekly class length (billed on the 1st of each month)

    • Registration Fee: $70 per student / $90 per family (one-time, non-refundable)

    • Recital & Costume Fees (non-refundable)

      Recital Fee: $160
      • $80 will be automatically billed with October tuition
      • $80 will be automatically billed with November tuition

      Costume Fee: $90 per costume
      • Will be automatically billed with December tuition

    • A structured, progressive dance curriculum

    • Recital performance opportunity

    • Year-long learning & growth in a creative environment

  • Tuition is Based on Weekly Class Hours

I'm In for the Full-Term Fun!

    • Tuition: $145 for a 6-week session or $75 for a 3-week session, due in full at the time of registration.

    • Registration Fee: $70 per student or $90 per family (one-time, non-refundable). This fee is charged once per dance season and covers registration for all classes, mini sessions, and programs offered from September through the following summer. Families who continue into the next dance season (beginning each September) will be charged a new annual registration fee.

    • No Recital or Costume Fees!

    • A fun & engaging introduction to dance

    • No long-term commitment

    • Perfect for first-time dancers!

  • $140 per six-week session

How to Dress for Dance Class: A Complete Guide

We’ve made getting ready for class simple! While we don’t require specific brands or styles, we do ask that dancers adhere to the attire guidelines provided for each class. You're welcome to purchase from any retailer of your choice.

Recommendation: For convenience, we recommend visiting Dance Supplies in Severna Park, MD, where you’ll receive a 10% discount when you mention The Dance Collective (TDC) at checkout!
